Still wondering about allergens, delivery or keeping your bread fresh? Here are the questions we hear most.

What about allergens?

Our loaves are made with wheat flour, water, salt and a natural sourdough culture. Pastries also contain milk, butter and egg. We bake in a kitchen that handles wheat, gluten, milk, egg, soya and sesame, so we cannot guarantee a product is free from traces. A full ingredient and allergen list is printed on every box and shown at checkout. Please do not order if you have a severe allergy to any of these.

When and where do you deliver?

We deliver to most mainland postcodes, with the day depending on your area (shown at checkout). Boxes leave the bakery before dawn and usually arrive by mid-morning. Delivery is free on orders over £25, and a flat £4 below that. You will get a text the evening before so you know exactly when to expect your bread.

How do I keep it fresh?

Sourdough is best stored cut-side down on a board or in a paper bag at room temperature, and it stays lovely for three to four days. It also freezes beautifully: slice first, then toast straight from frozen. Pastries are at their peak on the day, and a few minutes in a warm oven brings them right back.

Can I skip, pause or cancel?

Anytime, from your account in a couple of taps. Skip a single week if you are away, pause for as long as you like, swap which bakes you receive, or cancel with no fees and no phone calls. Changes made before the weekly cut-off apply to your very next box.

Is the bread really baked the same day?

Yes. We bake to order, so your loaf goes into the oven in the early hours of your delivery day and is on its way to you while it is still warm. Nothing sits on a shelf, and you will never receive day-old bread. If a box ever arrives stale, our freshness guarantee has you covered.
