I lit Ember & Oat the first evening it arrived and my whole flat felt different. Warm, not heavy. It has become the signal that the working day is over.
The ritual
We started with one small evening habit.
Hearth began at a kitchen table after a long year, with one rule: light a candle before anything else, and let the room slow down. We could not find a candle that felt honest, so we learned to pour our own. Coconut and rapeseed wax, cotton wicks, fragrance oils blended in small batches and poured by hand.
Years later, very little has changed. We still pour in small runs, still trim every wick, still test every scent in a real living room before it earns a name.
Poured, trimmed and tested by hand.
