Close detail of a folded Overshirt showing the diagonal twill weave

We start with the fibre, not the trend.

The Overshirt begins at a single family run mill in Biella, four generations deep in natural fibre cloth. The organic cotton is woven into a dense three by one twill, then garment washed so it feels broken in from the first wear and only softens from there.

Cut once, cut properly, and made to be mended.

★★★★★Fit: true to size
The thing I reach for every single morning. Two years in and it has only got better, softer and somehow smarter.

★★★★★Bought the set
I bought less and bought better, exactly as promised. The fit guide was spot on and the twill feels worth every penny.

★★★★★Fit: relaxed
Quiet, considered and honest. Nothing shouts, everything works together. A button came loose and they mended it for free.
Sofia A.Lisbon · Verified buyer
★★★★★Sized down
Ordered a M and a S, kept the S for a cleaner line. Free exchange, no fuss. It is the only overshirt I now wear.

★★★★★Fit: true to size
The colour in Oat is exactly as shown. It layers over a tee in summer and a merino crew in winter. Genuinely a year round piece.
Priya N.Manchester · Verified buyer
★★★★☆Runs relaxed
Beautiful cloth and finish. It runs a touch generous as they say, so size down if you like it neat. Delivery was next day.

The honest answers

How does the Overshirt fit compared to high street sizing?
It runs true to size with a relaxed, considered line. If you usually wear a UK 10 you will be a S to M with us. Prefer it neat? Size down one. Our model is 178cm in a size M, and the size guide above lists every measurement.
What do shipping and returns cost?
Shipping and returns are complimentary on every UK order over £100, and we include a prepaid returns label in each parcel. You have 30 days to decide. International rates are shown at checkout before you pay.
How should I care for it?
Machine wash cool and lay flat to dry, which keeps the organic cotton soft for years. A warm iron brings back the crispness. Full care notes are printed on the inner label and listed in the spec above.
Do you really offer lifetime repairs?
Yes. A loose seam, a lost button or a worn cuff: send it back and we will mend it at no cost for as long as you own it. We even sew a spare horn button inside every Overshirt. Buying better should mean keeping it longer.
Can I exchange if the size is not right?
Always, and the first exchange is free. Unsure between two sizes? Order both, keep the one that fits and send the other back with the prepaid label. Most people land on their usual size.
Live with it for 30 days

Wear the Overshirt, wash it, layer it. If the fit or feel is not right, return it with the prepaid label inside every parcel for a full refund. Backed by complimentary lifetime repairs on everything we make.
