Refund Policy
How refunds work for our digital Shopify themes and sections, your rights under UK consumer law, and the simple promise we make if something is faulty or not as described.

This is a starting template and not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it, and replace the bracketed placeholders with your own details.
1. What you are buying
Sellblocks sells digital products: Shopify themes (delivered as a theme zip you upload) and ready-made sections (delivered as code you copy and paste). All products are downloaded or accessed immediately after purchase through our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which processes your payment, delivers the files and licence key, and issues your receipt. There is no physical item to return. You pay once and own your copy forever, with no subscription.
2. Your 14-day cancellation right, and the download exception
If you buy as a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content and get a refund. There is an important exception for downloads that you agree to before you buy.
Because our files are made available for immediate download, at checkout you are asked to consent to the download starting straight away and to acknowledge that, once it starts, you lose the 14-day right to cancel. When you give that consent and your download becomes available, the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies to that purchase. This is standard for instant digital downloads and is required by the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty or not as described (see sections 3 and 4).
3. Our 30-day fix-it-or-refund promise
We stand behind every theme and section. If a product is faulty, broken, or materially not as described within 30 days of purchase, contact us and we will put it right. In practice that means we will:
- investigate the issue you report and confirm whether it is a fault on our side;
- provide a corrected file, patch, or clear setup guidance to resolve it; and
- if we cannot make the product work as described in a reasonable time, issue a full refund of the amount you paid for that item.
"Not as described" means the product does not do what our product page, demo, or documentation said it would on a supported, up-to-date Online Store 2.0 Shopify theme. This promise is a voluntary goodwill guarantee that we offer on top of your statutory rights, not instead of them.
4. Your statutory rights
If you buy as a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights in digital content: it must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that does not fix the problem, to a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in this policy limits or removes those rights, and where the law of the country where you live gives you stronger protection, that law applies. Our 30-day promise is in addition to these rights.
5. How to request help or a refund
Email hello@getsellblocks.com within 30 days of your purchase and include:
- your order number or the email address used at checkout;
- the theme or section name;
- a description of what is wrong, plus a screenshot or screen recording if you can; and
- the Shopify theme and browser you are using.
We aim to reply within 2 working days. Most issues are resolved with a quick fix or a corrected file.
6. How refunds are processed
Because Lemon Squeezy, LLC is our merchant of record, approved refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method. Once a refund is approved it usually appears within five to ten business days, depending on your bank or card provider. You can also contact Lemon Squeezy about a receipt or payment using the details on your order confirmation.
7. When a refund may not apply
To keep things fair, a refund under our 30-day promise may not be available where:
- the product works as described and the request is simply outside the 30-day window;
- the issue is caused by third-party apps, custom code, or modifications made after delivery rather than by our product;
- the product is being used on a theme or platform we do not support (our themes and sections are built for Online Store 2.0 Shopify themes); or
- the file has been redistributed, resold, or shared outside the terms of your licence.
This section describes our voluntary promise and does not affect your statutory rights for content that is genuinely faulty or not as described. If you are unsure whether your case qualifies, get in touch anyway. We would rather talk it through than turn you away.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can help quickly. Opening a chargeback before reaching out can delay a resolution. We and our merchant of record keep records of delivery and support correspondence and will respond to disputes accordingly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the date you bought. The latest version always lives on this page, with the "last updated" date above.
