Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Jackson Mills, a sole trader trading as Sellblocks ("Sellblocks", "we", "us"). Sellblocks is operated by Jackson Mills, a sole trader trading as Sellblocks, in the United Kingdom. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any Sellblocks theme or section, you agree to these Terms. If you are buying on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not purchase or use our products.

2. What you are buying

Sellblocks sells digital products: premium, conversion-built Shopify themes and reusable Shopify sections, built for Online Store 2.0 and editable in the native Shopify theme editor. Products are delivered digitally, either as a theme zip file you upload to your Shopify admin, or as section code you copy and paste into a supported theme.

You are buying a licence to use these digital files. You are not buying the underlying code outright, and ownership of the files and their design does not transfer to you.

3. Licence to use

When your payment is received, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to use the purchased files, subject to these Terms and to the use scope you bought (see section 4). "Pay once, own forever" means your licence does not expire and is not a subscription, for the scope you purchased.

Under this licence you may:

• Install and use the files on the Shopify store or stores permitted by your licence scope.
• Edit, customise, and combine the files to fit your brand and products.
• Use the result on a live, commercial Shopify store that you or your client operates.

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, rent, lend, or redistribute the raw theme or section files, in original or modified form, as a standalone product or as part of a template, theme, kit, or marketplace listing.
• Share the files publicly, post them in a public repository, or otherwise make them available for others to download.
• Use a single-store licence to deploy across multiple unrelated stores beyond what your scope allows.

4. Single store vs agency use

The scope of your licence depends on what you purchased:

• Single theme (one store): a single theme purchase is licensed for use on one Shopify store that you own or operate, and includes every section that ships inside that theme.
• All-Access (multi-store and agency use): the All-Access licence is intended for agencies, freelancers, and merchants building more than one store, and covers use across your own stores and your clients' stores. The finished store you deliver belongs to the client, but the right to reuse the raw Sellblocks files on new projects stays with you as the licence holder.

In all cases, delivering a finished store to a client is permitted. Handing the client the raw Sellblocks files so that they, or anyone else, can reuse them on other projects is not. 5. Intellectual property

All Sellblocks themes, sections, source code, design, layout, demo copy, and brand assets are owned by Jackson Mills (trading as Sellblocks) or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We retain all rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms.

You keep ownership of your own content: your product photos, copy, logos, and data that you add to a store remain yours. Sellblocks claims no rights over the content you create using our products.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sellblocks products to:

• Break any applicable law, or infringe anyone else's rights.
• Build stores that promote fraud, deception, or unlawful goods or services.
• Remove or obscure copyright notices in a way that misrepresents the origin of the files.
• Attempt to circumvent licence limits, including reusing files beyond your purchased scope.

We may suspend or terminate a licence that is used in serious breach of these Terms, without refund.

7. Demo content is illustrative

Our themes and sections ship with demo brands, images, copy, prices, and review snippets. These are fictional examples used to show how a layout looks when populated. They are illustrative only, are not included with your purchase as licensed assets, and must be replaced with your own content before you go live. Do not rely on any demo statistic, claim, or testimonial as if it were real, and do not reuse demo imagery, brand names, or copy that you are not separately licensed to use.

8. Payment, seller of record, and access

Our checkout and payment are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC (a Stripe company). Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for your transaction: it processes your payment, charges you in your local currency where available, collects and remits any VAT or sales tax due, delivers your files and licence key, and issues your receipt. Your purchase at checkout is therefore made from Lemon Squeezy as reseller, and Lemon Squeezy's own terms and privacy policy also apply to that transaction. Sellblocks grants you the licence to use the product under these Terms.

Prices are set in GBP and may be displayed or charged in your local currency for convenience; the exact amount charged, including any tax, is confirmed by Lemon Squeezy at checkout. After successful payment you receive access to download the files. You are responsible for keeping your download link and licence key secure. Refunds are handled under our separate Refund Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranty

Sellblocks products are template products provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We build for speed and for Online Store 2.0 compatibility and test against current Shopify themes, but we do not warrant that a file will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every theme, app, custom code, or future Shopify change. You are responsible for testing on your own store, keeping backups, and confirming the product suits your needs before going live. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer (see our Refund Policy).

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jackson Mills (trading as Sellblocks) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost sales, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of, or inability to use, our products.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you actually paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its "last updated" date, will always be posted on this page. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not retroactively reduce rights you already hold for products you have already purchased.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you buy as a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and nothing here removes those protections.
